Vacancy: Community Manager (Part time basis – around 10 hours per week)

 

We are a small company with more than 20 year experience and are looking to increase our brand awareness in Healthcare, Medtech and Wellbeing

 

We are looking for a digital-savvy Community Manager who will be responsible for aligning all company communications, PR, social media, and marketing content to create a strong brand identity.

 

You will be the first point of contact for online fans and followers, thus developing an intimate relationship with the online community. 

 

Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content. The Community Manager should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. 

 

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep passion for social media, stay abreast of new developments and opportunities in the industry, and be a strategic thinker. You must have an outgoing personality as in-person networking will also be part of the job. 

  

Community Manager duties and responsibilities 

 

Provide engaging text, image and video content for all social media 

Respond to customers in a timely manner 

Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews 

Boost brand awareness 

Build relationships with customers, industry professionals and journalists 

Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends 

 
Community Manager requirements 

 

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills 

Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills 

Hands on experience with social media management 

Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver 

Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics 

Attention to detail and ability to multitask 

A degree in communication, English, journalism, marketing or related field may be required. 

Experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube for business is essential. 

Knowledge of marketing trends and techniques. 

Superb time management skills.
