Dr Susan Aquilina is a Dermatology Consultant at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital in Floriana. She graduated from the University of Malta Medical School in 1997, obtained her MRCP (UK) in 2000 and became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 2011. She has been working at the Department of Dermatology at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital since 2000, with a three-month period as a clinical observer at St John’s Institute of Dermatology at St Thomas’ Hospital in London. She published several dermatology articles, mainly in European dermatology journals, and participated actively in various dermatology multicentre research projects, including the European Project on Prevention of Skin Cancers (EPIDERM). Dr. Susan Aquilina is the website officer of the Maltese Association of Dermatology and Venereology.
