Mr Andrejevic obtained his primary degree from the University of Belgrade. He completed specialisation in General Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and also became Fellow of American College of Surgeons. The speciality of his choice is Colorectal Laparoscopic and Emergency Surgery. He is one of the pioneers of Laparoscopic Surgery in Malta. He performed more than 100 advanced colorectal Laparoscopic procedures in the last four years including natural orifice organ retrieval. He also performs basic laparoscopic procedures like hernia repair and cholecystectomy.

Mr Andrejevic is actively involved in teaching at the University of Malta. He is also Postgraduate Training Coordinator in Surgery and the founder of the International Faculty for teaching postgraduate surgical trainees. Mr. Andrejevic is the organiser of several advanced Laparoscopic surgical courses and Emergency and Trauma courses.

Mr Andrejevic is a member of the European Educational Committee responsible for teaching basic and advanced laparoscopic skills. He is also Secretary General at the International Academy of Minimally Invasive Surgery (IAMS) and a member of the faculty at AIMS Academy (Advanced International Mini-Invasive Surgery)

Mr Andrejevic has published locally and internationally in peer reviewed journals and had several presentations at the European and American Congresses of Laparoscopic Surgery. He is also a Basketball enthusiast and leads an NGO for the Maltese Serbian Community.
