Dr. Noel Borg is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist and Intensive Care Physician. He graduated as a Medical Doctor from the University of Malta in 2002 and completed specialist training in 2009. Dr. Borg has practiced as a Consultant Anaesthetist in the UK where he gained further experience in Intensive Care Medicine and Regional Anaesthesia which are his main areas of interest. He has notably been involved in the training of local anaesthesiologists in the use of ultrasound for guided regional anaesthesia techniques.

Since 2012, Dr. Noel Borg has been practicing as a Consultant in Mater Dei Hospital, Malta. He is also a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine & Surgery at the University of Malta. Dr Noel Borg has served in a number of positions within the Association of Anaesthesiologists of Malta (AAM) including that of secretary and vice-president. Currently he is the AAM President.
