Mario J Cachia MD FRCP(Lond.), Consultant Physician, Specialist in Diabetes and Endocrinology, visiting Senior Lecturer University of Malta, Lead Clinician Gender Wellbeing Clinic, is a Consultant Physician with an interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology at Mater Dei Hospital and a Visiting Senior Lecturer with the Department of Medicine at the Malta Medical School.

He studied at the University Of Malta Medical School and then furthered his interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology at King’s College Hospital, London working with Dr Peter Watkins and Professor Mike Edmonds and Professor Diego Vergani.

He has continued to develop an interest in the Charcot foot at the Diabetes Clinic at Mater Dei Hospital and runs a foot clinic with the main aim of looking after Charcot Neuroarthropahty.

He is also the Lead Clinician for the recently launched Gender Wellbeing Clinic and the Medical Investigation and Treatment Unit.
