In this session Dr Gamoudi discusses the causes, symptoms, investigations as well as treatment of common genital infections including sexually transmitted illnesses. Dr Gamoudi further emphasises the importance of correct diagnosis including the use of appropriate investigations prior to starting any treatment.
The importance of not underestimating the psychological component of genital infections on the patient and his or her partner is emphasised.
