Dr Tonio Piscopo is a Consultant in Infectious Diseases working at the Infectious Diseases Unit of Mater Dei Hospital, Malta. He graduated MD from the University of Malta in 1989. After specialising in General Medicine, he specialised further in Infectious Diseases, Malta and in the United Kingdom and key areas of practice besides general infectious diseases includes hepatitis B and C, HIV and tuberculosis. Dr Piscopo is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London and is also Malta Foundation School Director.
