Asthma Masterclass

Asthma is a chronic condition responsible for significant morbidity whose prevalence is increasing worldwide. Treatment options for asthma are numerous and along the years significant advances have been made in these treatment options. The high and increasing prevalence of asthma along with the recent advances in asthma management highlighted the need of this Asthma Masterclass with the aim of keeping healthcare professionals updated with the latest information and guidelines on this highly relevant condition.

This Asthma Masterclass is the first of its kind being presented on CME30’s brand new portal and consists of three sessions delivered by key opinion leaders in Asthma Management. The Masterclass consists of the following Sessions:

Session 1 – Asthma: Diagnosis and Investigations by Prof. Stephen Montefort

Session 2 – Asthma Management Guidelines by Dr. David Bilocca

Session 3 Part 1: Severe Asthma: Case Presentations by Dr. Caroline Gouder

Session 3 Part 2: Management of Asthma: Q & A by Dr. Caroline Gouder

Accreditation

Each of the three Sessions of this Asthma Masterclass is accredited as follows:

	Medical Association of Malta as representative of UEMS	0.5 Credits
	Malta College of Family Doctors	0.5 Credits

On completion of this module you will be awarded 3 Points.  Each point is equivalent to MCFD 0.5 CPD units / 0.5 European CME Credits (ECMEC’s).

After watching each Session, participants are invited to attempt a short set of Multiple Choice Questions and download the Certificate of Participation which can be used for accreditation purposes.
