Life after the menopause

The eLeaening session describes the problems a woman faces after the menopause which are principally due to the loss of i estrogen but also to natural process of age.

The principal problems are described and an array of possible management options laid out.

Learning Objectives

• The student will become familiar with the most common complaints a woman will face after the menopause from a gynaecological point of vuee.
• He/she will learn the causes and be in a position to explain and counsel a patient on what is going on.
• The various treatment modalities for these problems will become part of their knowledge base
