ICU Management of COVID 19 patients

This elearning Session is tutored by Dr. Noel Borg, a Consultant Intensive Care Specialist who discusses the management of the covid-19 patients who will bear the worst brunt of the Disease.

Among others, this Session covers the following points:

 

• Proportion of Covid-19 positive patients expected to deteriorate and require ICU admission and treatment 
• Red flags which warrant ICU admission
• Types of respiratory support required by Covid-19 positive patients 
• Expected sequale for patients who survive Covid-19
